The introduction of the office PC back in the early 90’s and its large bulky monitor caused the desking market to "go large": desks evolved into workstations and 1.8m x 1.6m sizes were not uncommon. Users needed a big curved desk to accommodate their new technology.

Now again in the mid 2000’s workstations are again evolving, but this time are getting smaller! The introduction of the flat screen and laptops now means that big curved desks are redundant and no longer required, workstations are getting simpler!
